Oscar & Ivy are looking for a new senior stylist and Apprentice Mentor, to take on an existing clientele from our beauties who went on maternity leave to expand and grow with our squad!
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Full time Senior Stylist and Apprentice Mentor Passionate, motivated & willing to continue to grow & learn new techniques Confident in skills Positive and friendly vibes Eager to mentor and support apprentice growth YOUR ROLE: Consult with and advise clients on hair styles to determine their needs, preferences and specifications Cut, colour, shape, style, straighten, trim and care for clients hair Advise clients on suitable hair styles and colour, based on their physical features and hair type Hair colour treatments, while also considering hair dye sensitivities and allergies Shampoo, condition and dry client's hair Use various hairstyling tools and equipment Clean and sterilise all hairdressing tools and equipment Instal, cut and style hair extensions Mentor our junior stylist in client interactions, how to wash hair, apply colours, style and cut hair and apply hair extensions WHY WORK WITH US: Be a part of one Busselton's leading and multi award winning salon Work in a HUGE (330 square meters) relaxing and modern space that was completely renovated and is walking distance from the beach. We have amazing clients and a super friendly team of 14 girls Full time front of house reception team who take all the pressure off by taking all the calls and client bookings etc Low tox colour line - no working with nasty chemicals We like to fill our stylists love cups- you like bridal hair?

we train our girls every week and love to rotate team leaders to share their knowledge and skills. Future opportunity to educate at our workshops Backstage hair show experience in Perth and over east if that fills up your love cup WHAT WE OFFER: Salary between $70,000 - $74,000 2 day weekend every week (Sunday, Monday) Option of 5 weeks off a year We close Christmas-New Years and you don't ever have to work your birthday (unless you want cake in salon of course) One week paid shadow of other stylist to make you feel comfortable We will happily teach you our signature O & I techniques 8 weekly team hair nights (free hair colour) Family/ friends get salon discounts of 20% off SCHEDULE: 8 hour shift Weekend availability Work Authorisation: Australia (Preferred)
