Senior Group Reporting Analyst

The Role
As the Senior Group Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of Group's consolidated accounts and the financial reporting requirements, as well as management reporting where required. You will also provide support and guidance to the finance teams across the Group focusing on group reporting, assisting with technical accounting matters, process improvement and efficiencies. The duties of your role will include, but not be limited to the following:
Prepare and analyse monthly and quarterly reporting to major shareholder.Key contact for technical accounting & consolidations team.Review related balance sheet reconciliations on a regular basis for any issues and compliance with Group policies.Review of existing reporting processes and controls to streamline reporting and realise efficiencies.Identify process improvements opportunities and efficiencies for finance teams.Ensuring SOX controls for US reporting regulations are operating effectively and always met without exception.Ensuring compliance in accordance with accounting standards, ASX listing rules and Corporations Law.Assist with external and internal audit requirements.Adopt a whole business perspective when solving issues.Work collaboratively within the team to share and obtain knowledge.Strong project management skills to efficiently ensure monthly reporting requirements (both internal and external) are well planned and executed.Ad hoc projects as required.The Person
CA or CPA qualified, you will have commenced your career within a Big 4 or mid-tier environment (ideally from External Audit) and have excellent technical accounting knowledge and skills. Either making your first move from Chartered or coming from a large and complex environment, you will need to utilize your savvy mindset and ability to think outside the box to work through ambiguity to succeed, and your excellent interpersonal and communication skills to partner with a range of internal and external stakeholders, to support the growth agenda of the Group.
Exposure in ASX listed environments, SOX or USGAAP will be regarded highly but are not essential to be considered for this long-term contract role.
