Salary: $145,000 - 165,000 Excluding SuperannuationLocation: Melbourne CBD, Immediate startAbout Our ClientOur client is a leading National Financial Services organisation with a head office in the heart of Melbourne's CBD on Collins St.Job DescriptionThe Senior Group Accountant will be responsible for the following:Lead the financial reports & statutory account preparation process, including disclosures and consolidations.Tax: BAS, FBT.Be the point of contact for the auditors.Lead the annual tax accounting and compliance process.Board reporting.Preparation of accounting position papers.Lead the month-end accounting process.Accounting and tax consolidation work papers.Income tax calculations and tax accounting journals.Inter-company reconciliations.Accounting for investments, derivatives, and debt facilities.Process improvement initiatives.Other ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by the Financial Controller and CFO.Support and partner with FP&A team.The Successful ApplicantCA/CPA Qualified.Big-4 or mid-tier audit background preferred.3+ Years Experience in industry in a similar role.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.Strong technical accounting skills.What's on OfferCompetitive salary/remuneration.Opportunity to progress and develop into a managerial position.Competitive Bonus/Short term incentives.Immediate start.Central CBD Offices.
