The Role This role is an integral part of the finance team and you will be given the opportunity to make the finance function your own.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, CFO, CEO, senior geologists and more, duties will include but are not limited to: Preparation of consolidated financial statements Preparation of monthly management reporting including analysis to assist with decision making processes Preparation of technical accounting papers, policies etc Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants Assist with the annual budget preparation Manage a small team of transactional staff About You You will have been trained in audit (Big 4 or high ranked Mid-tier audit firm) You will have at least 2 years post audit in a Group Accountant or Senior Financial Accountant position (Mining experience is highly regarded) CA/CPA qualified or equivalent is essential You will enjoy a fast paced environment, taking on new duties and projects as the company grows You will be an ambitious, high achiever with good communication skills who is looking to take that next step in their career and begin working towards a Finance Manager or Financial Controller role Previous experience managing/supervising a team of more than one will be highly advantageous How To Apply If this role sounds like a fit for you then please do not delay in applying directly or if you have met with someone from JP Search then please get in touch.
