About the Role: This new position will assist the Group Finance Manager with reporting and consolidation activities.
They will ensure the delivery of high quality financial and accounting services to meet management, financial and statutory reporting requirements, enhance decision making, and achieve business goals and targets.
Key Accountabilities Full financial management and reporting including preparation and review of year-end and half-year financial statements Preparation and review of monthly financial reports for management Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in month end processes and procedures to achieve reporting obligations and drive efficiency Review and analyse financial results monthly Accounting and administration of the employee Rights plans and associated reporting obligations Assist with the management of external audit Ensure general compliance across the business with accounting policies Preparation of technical accounting papers outlining the business impact and required accounting treatments where applicable Ensure strong internal controls are in place to minimise risk of misstatement and actively contribute to the evaluation and enhancement of business reporting and analysis to achieve best practice About You Relevant tertiary and post graduate qualifications (CA or CPA preferred) Exposure to larger scale ERP and reporting systems (JDE highly beneficial) Experience in drafting reports for senior executives and the board advantageous Hands on experience in complex Group financial statement preparation including consolidation entries and tax effect accounting Strong attention to detail Demonstrated ability to manage complexity in a rapidly changing business environment and to actively drive change through innovation and continuous improvement Able to apply strategic business acumen to identify value creation opportunities across Finance and the business Culture and Benefits In return, we offer a competitive package, flexibility (including working from home for some roles), extensive training and development, career progression and generous reward and recognition programs including some amazing discounts at our Holiday Parks...
