Our purpose is to transition the world to a clean energy future.As Australia's only end-to-end provider of all renewable energy technologies, with proven experience integrating solar, wind, battery energy storage and green hydrogen into new and existing systems, we deliver industry firsts that are leading the clean energy transition.Due to our continued success in the market and our focus on growth we have a newly created role that would be ideal for an individual who is seeking to drive continuous improvement and bring innovative solutions to financial processes and controls.As an integral member of our Corporate Finance team, reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will help deliver a financial framework, including standardised chart of accounts and reporting trees, and be responsible for the annual budgeting process for the Group.Key AccountabilitiesPrepare the annual budget and quarterly reforecast, including maintaining budget guidelines and templates, and Board reporting.Maintain the Group consolidation including consolidation entries, and inter-company transactions.Develop and maintain a standard chart of accounts, reporting trees and other hierarchies.Document and maintain financial procedures and controls documentation.Identify and implement control and process improvement initiatives.Liaise with stakeholders, including business finance managers, executive team members and internal and external auditors.Train and mentor junior staff members.Key experience, qualifications and skills for this role include:Tertiary qualified in Business/Commerce or similar plus CA/CPA qualifications.Solid experience in a similar role including auditing or advisory services.Proficiency in internal controls, process mapping and policy writing.Highly developed stakeholder engagement, communication and business partnering skills.Results oriented, commitment to delivery and a problem-solving mindset.Advanced Excel and BI knowledge.ADDITIONAL BENEFITS INCLUDE:Additional four days per annum of Personal Business Leave.Opportunity to apply for additional leave (Purchase Leave).Employee Discretionary Bonus Program.Salary continuance insurance.Rewards Gateway for our employees.Employee Referral Reward.WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERAt Pacific Energy, we celebrate the richness and depth that diversity brings.
