Davidson are partnering with our well known, Melbourne based client to offer an opportunity for a Senior Utilities Business Analyst with deep expertise with Grid Stability and Distributed Energy Recourses.
Initial 6-month day-rate contract.
The Role You will be a self-starter, forward thinking, and delivery focused with a proven track record in delivering complex Operational Technology solutions and have extensive knowledge of DER / AEMO / NEM.
Key responsibilities: Mapping current state processes and recommend future state improvements.
Engaging with diverse stakeholder groups, including customer engagement teams, government organisations, and senior leadership.
Delivering end-to-end business analysis for large-scale projects within the Energy sector.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, particularly those relating to DER, Smart Metering, and IoT technologies.
Consolidating and interpreting siloed project streams to produce coherent end-to-end business processes.
About You You will be an experienced Senior Business Analyst with recent experience in the Electricity industry, with exceptional communication and stakeholder/vendor management skills.
You will also have: Extensive experience with Operational Technology (OT) solutions and a deep understanding of DER, Smart Metering (AMI), or IoT technologies.
Exposure to CSIP-AUS standards (IEEE 2030.5) or similar communication protocols, and one or more of regulatory/government bodies (AEMO, DEECA, AER) Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and with various stakeholder groups.
Strong negotiation and conflict management skills to support a fast-paced environment.
Strong documentation skills and the ability to synthesize and map complex processes into actionable plans.
