The opportunity The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for designing and producing a range of internal and external communication materials, as well as managing design and production functions for strategic communication projects/marketing events.
Reporting to the Digital Communications Manager, you will be responsible for:
Managing and maintaining the production of internal materials and external publications, for example corporate templates, forms, the Annual Review, assessments, newsletters, brochures, rulings and web content, including social media assets.Providing specialist communications advice and services to all staff and management, including the Executive.Coordinating and managing the publishing process, including the management of providers, delivery schedule, and branding/style guidelines.Ensuring all activities and publications adhere to the Victorian Government Communication Guidelines, and all related policies and guidelines.Working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure material being produced is accurate, clear, concise, consistent, meets customer needs, and is delivered to deadline.Who we are looking for To be successful in this role, you will have:
Graphic design skills using the Adobe suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat), Microsoft Office, Canva and other tools.Experience designing a range of creative communications material (both print and digital) including corporate documents, slide decks and reports, PDFs, brand assets, infographics, iconography, campaign outputs, and other digital graphic assets for web, social media and other channels.Excellent communication (written, verbal and interpersonal) and negotiation skills to write, edit and proof, and liaise with stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated organisational and planning skills to manage own work, assist other team members, support concurrent projects and activities, and assist delivery teams to monitor progress and achieve targeted outcomes.Demonstrated stakeholder management to collaborate with others, manage critical relationships, and negotiate with and influence diverse senior stakeholders to achieve key outcomes.How to apply Submit an application via the 'Apply now' button by 11.59pm 12 November 2024.
