About the Department of Education:
The Department of Education International (DEi) Global Engagement team develops and delivers a range of innovative programs and prizes for Queensland school students and teachers, and promotes sister school relationships and Global Competence across the state. The audience for marketing material created includes students and their parents, educators, and local and overseas education partners.
Our graphic designers are responsible for market strategies and research, competitor analysis, video and print production, social media campaigns, website development and maintenance, photo shoots, stakeholder communications/newsletters, and success stories that provide compelling stories and authentic opportunities to our audience.
About the Role:
As the Senior Graphic Designer, reporting to the Manager - Global Engagement, you will:
Provide creative solutions, concepts, and designs and prepare artwork for a variety of communication and marketing projects and activities, from large online publications to social media.Perform graphic design and desktop publishing tasks in a design environment using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and PowerPoint, and proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro - video editing of promotional marketing videos for digital campaigns.Be a significant contributor in creating innovative designs including filming and video editing to support the promotion of innovative programs and prizes for Queensland students.Respond to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding social and digital marketing.Contribute to GE's project activities and processes including planning, implementation, coordination, budgeting, and reporting.Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, and information briefings.Write web content change requests.Key Requirements for the Role Include: Demonstrated experience in a similar role.Supports strategic direction.Achieves results.Supports productive working relationships.Displays personal drive and integrity.Open and honest and communicates with influence.About You:
We are on the lookout for an A05 Graphic Designer to deliver print, digital, and social media services. There's filming, video editing, and design, as well as print and social media production.
You will deliver high-quality and engaging designs that promote GE campaigns and programs to our international students/parents/education agents and work to enhance and protect the GE brand.
