Together, we want to help you build a fulfilling career with Lifeblood.About the roleAs Senior Government Relations Advisor, reporting directly into the Head of Government Relations, you will contribute to Lifeblood achieving its objectives under multiple contracts with Australian governments, including the Deed of Agreement with the National Blood Authority and agreements for Transplantation & Immunogenetics Services.You will play a key role to ensure communication of business requirements and solutions to government and other stakeholders, as well as interpreting and communicating the requirements of governments and other stakeholders internally. In conjunction with the above you will utilise your strategic administration skills for reporting and briefing purposes. Attention to detail is vital in this role to ensure documents are developed and reviewed to an appropriate standard prior to release.The role involves significant interaction with internal and external parties and requires excellent customer and stakeholder relationship management skills.Sound interesting? Here's what we're looking for:Tertiary qualifications in Arts, Social Science, Political Science or another relevant disciplineProven experience in project management, strong coordination and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively across diverse functional areas.The ability to understand and interpret the needs of stakeholders, and to communicate this internallyA continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities to improve practices and processes.An excellent communicator with an ability to build and sustain effective internal relationships and collaborate as an effective team member to deliver organisational outcomes.Excellent report writing skills with high attention to detail and a focus on accuracyHigh level ability to write clearly and briefly on complex concepts for general consumptionPrevious experience working directly within or liaising with government is advantageousThis is a permanent full-time opportunity with a hybrid working environment based out of Melbourne.
