Senior Government Lawyer

As a lawyer in our Employment advising team, you will work closely with our clients in the development, implementation and administration of Government policies including: Helping with legislation development and supporting our Ministers progress their legislative agenda, with particular focus on the application of the social security law and developing legislation to amend the social security law.
Undertaking statutory interpretation.
Advising on administrative law issues.
Advising on potential legal claims and disputes (including opportunities for tribunal advocacy work); and Problem solving.
