Permanent Position Monday to Friday roster SouthHedland Location About the Role: WorkPac is currently seeking a Senior Governance Officer for our client in Port Hedland. The Service objective is to provide holistic, primary health care services to the Aboriginal people in Port Hedland, South Hedland and surrounding areas of the Pilbara region. Duties and Responsibilities: To provide excellent direction support and efficient, effective, and compliant governance and risk management functions. To respond to the needs of the Board and CEO to ensure quality support in the governance function to these roles. To develop, implement and maintain the governance and related risk management framework, policies, and processes consistent with legislation, approved policies, and organizational directives. To ensure that the requirements and practice of governance and the risk management framework is embedded throughout the organization. Skills & Experience Required: Relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated extensive relevant experience in governance related roles or an equivalent combination of relevant experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. Proven experience and ability to prepare policy and local law related documents in a timely fashion.
