Senior Geotechnical Engineers & Engineering Geologists - NEWCASTLEThis company is a big name in the engineering game: an international, multi-disciplinary firm which will look GREAT on your CV! The office is in the heart of Newcastle's CBD.
Due to an influx of major project wins in the region, they are looking to expand their Ground Engineering team with the addition of Geotechnical Engineers and Engineering Geologists. They require professionals with: Upwards of 6 years relevant experience as a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist (ideally including some locally gained experience).Relevant tertiary qualifications.Experience leading other, more junior Engineers/Geologists.Strong technical experience along with solid project management skills.Experience in a similar role that included major transport infrastructure projects, dams, deep basements, slope stability, etc.Substantial Geotechnical Investigation and/or CPS and/or geotechnical design experience behind them…and who's happy getting a mix of these on a variety of projects.The role will include project management and also staying hands-on technically (analysis, reporting, design), while helping to lead others within the larger ground engineering group.
