We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Perth office. This is a challenging role that will see you deliver innovative and effective technical solutions to both internal and external clients.
Your role will include:
Provide technical advice on complex geotechnical issues to clients and internal staff and deliver best practice consulting services; Use advanced techniques to synthesise and analyse data for decision making/recommendations; Build reputation as Technical Leader/Lead Consultant and participate in industry groups; Manage, analyse and carry out geotechnical reporting for projects; Provide safety leadership in identifying and alleviating high priority safety hazards; Participate in training activities, mentor and transfer knowledge to other geotechnical engineers; Manage existing and new client relationships and undertake proactive business development activities; Keep abreast of advancing technologies, methods and research & development; Supervise, coordinate and review/evaluate activities carried out by less experienced engineers; Prepare tenders, proposals and reports for clients; Guide, participate and support stakeholder engagement activities. About you:
Typically 5 to 12 years' experience in geotechnical engineering; A successful track record in undertaking and managing field investigations for geotechnical projects; Demonstrated experience in the preparation/review of written technical reports and client communications; Demonstrated experience in geotechnical design including rock/soil/structure interaction; A civil engineering or engineering geology degree; Post graduate qualifications in a geotechnical related field will be considered favourably; A strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and in a team environment; Ability to take responsibility for geotechnical design delivery in a multidisciplinary environment.
