The Opportunity
Ulan Underground is currently seeking to employ a motivated and results driven Senior Geotechnical Engineer to assist in delivering the operations targets, whilst maximising value. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, this role's primary objective is to deliver best practice geotechnical engineering strategies for the underground operation. To ensure direct technical and production accountabilities are achieved, clear and consistent communication between the Technical Services team and the underground operations is paramount.
Responsibilities of the role include: Manage the appropriate and systematic delivery and review of support systemsGuarantee compliance with relevant legislationMaintain standards in relation to the geotechnical designs for both primary and secondary supportReporting any non-compliance and developing remediation plans.To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate disposes of: At least 5 years' experience working across geotechnical investigation, design and analysisThe ability to undertake analyses utilising several different methodologiesDemonstrate a passion for visible leadershipInspire and empower your team to drive positive outcomes.Make the move to Mudgee and benefit from: Regional Allowance of up to $16,000 (role specific)Relocation assistanceRemote area housing assistanceEducation AssistanceState of the art Sporting ComplexLively community, with markets, music, and festivals.About Ulan Underground
