They are now seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in Canberra.
The Role. As the Senior Geotechnical Engineer and 2IC to the Managing Director, you will play a critical role in overseeing the technical and operational aspects of the consultancy. You will be responsible for managing complex geotechnical projects, providing expert technical guidance, and ensuring the highest standards of project delivery.
In addition to your technical duties, you will support the Managing Director in strategic planning, business development, and team leadership. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving the company's growth and maintaining its reputation for excellence.
What You Need. To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in geotechnical engineering or a related field, with extensive experience in geotechnical project management. You should have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Strong technical expertise in geotechnical engineering is essential, along with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Leadership experience and the ability to mentor and develop junior engineers are also important. Additionally, you should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
