The role In this role, you will be undertaking a wide spectrum of data management, data design, and data integration activities with a strong focus on industry engagement and support, and with significant intra and inter-government collaboration. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of data and digital functions and will be instrumental in helping modernise and integrate departmental systems.
Drawing on your advising skills and experience, you will provide technical advice and assistance to internal and external stakeholders, as required, or directed.
Your ability to coordinate investigations, planning, development, and implementation of data systems and modelling processes including the use of programming and scripting tools will play a key part in performing the role.
We are currently looking for someone who can provide leadership in the formulation of new and improved products and processes and the ability to assist in staff training and development, who wants to make a positive impact through the provision of geoscience data and products and setting strategic resource policy.
