About the role:We offer an exciting opportunity as a Senior Geophysicist in our Survey & Inspection Department in a fast-changing, dynamic industry - and plenty of opportunity to grow, apply your knowledge, skills, and experience in DOF's core activities.As a Senior Geophysicist, you will undertake projects which include, but are not limited to, analogue seismic site surveys, pipe route surveys, pipeline freespan assessment surveys, AUV and ROV inspection of Subsea pipeline and other assets, Seabed Hazards and Debris Surveys, shallow gas digital seismic site surveys, fibre optic / general cable burial surveys, AUV and ROV Geophysical Survey for clients in Australia and overseas. You will also assist in processing MBES data, producing Charts, and GIS database delivered to clients in a professional, effective, and timely manner, within budgets and deadlines.Location:The role will be based in the office in Perth; however, you will be required to go offshore when required.RequirementsExtensive experience in operating in the field of hydrographic, geological, and geophysical marine surveysGeophysical Data acquisition and post-processing'Party Chief' aboard vesselsAUV geological/geophysical position within the Subsea or Offshore environmentMBES data processing, interpretation, reporting, GIS, and charting systems (desirable)Operating Inspection systemsMeet IMCA Guideline C004 Rev3.1 Job Category S33 for Senior Marine GeophysicistDegree in BSc.
