Job DescriptionThe OpportunityWe are looking for a Senior Geologist / Geoscientist, who is responsible for analyzing and interpreting high-quality offshore geo-data to provide accurate and customized advice to clients on their individual project needs.
Your day-to-day duties and focus will include:Perform technical duties related to geology or engineering geology working closely with the project team and technical authoritiesPreparing ground and geological models, geohazard analyses and compiling technical reports to be reviewed and approved by another technical authorityUtilize geological software and tools to interpret data and assess site geology and potential geological hazards for project sitesCreate presentations and workshops to inform clients about the outcomes and potential next steps in their offshore project developments, covering both renewables and oil/gas sectorsCollaborate and share information with team members, whilst also mentoring and supporting less experienced staffPotentially be able to perform offshore field work (up to 60 days) and travel as requiredAbout UsWe are Fugro, the world's leading Geo-data specialist, focused on mapping, modeling and monitoring data about the earth's surface and the structures built upon it.
