Responsibilities: Geochemical Assessments: Conduct comprehensive geochemical assessments to evaluate environmental impacts of mining, exploration, and industrial activities.Develop and execute sampling plans for soil, water, sediment, and rock samples, overseeing laboratory analysis.Analyze data and interpret findings to assess environmental risks and formulate effective mitigation strategies.Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and supervision to junior staff, ensuring adherence to quality control standards and data validation protocols.Review analytical data, validate results, and offer technical oversight for laboratory testing processes.Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored geochemical solutions.Prepare clear and concise technical reports, presentations, and proposals for clients, regulators, and stakeholders.Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of environmental regulations and industry standards pertaining to geochemistry and environmental management.Ensure project activities comply with regulatory requirements and uphold environmental best practices.Project Management: Lead geochemistry projects from initiation to completion, managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.Coordinate field sampling activities, liaise with subcontractors and laboratories, and oversee project logistics to ensure timely delivery.Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's in Geochemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.7+ years of experience in geochemical assessments and environmental consulting.Strong analytical skills and expertise in interpreting geochemical data.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.How to Apply: If you are a highly skilled environmental geochemist, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!
