JOB DESCRIPTION You will work closely with Games Designers to collaborate in the development of gameplay systems. This would typically be focussed on player 3c's in a multiplayer context.
Define and develop prototypes in collaboration with the Design teamParticipate in the architecture, design and implementation of the gameplay code following the Game Design intentionsWork within the constraints of the existing game engine to meet performance and quality benchmarksLook for innovative tools and techniques allowing to achieve the best gameplay quality possibleInterface with all disciplines (game designers, animators, engineers, ...) to ensure that the constraints are well integrated in the game development QUALIFICATIONS WHAT YOU'LL BRING Good command of C++ programming, including refactoring, optimization, debugging and testingControl of 3D mathematics and their use in gameplay systemsExperience with character animation, navigation, and AI systemsExperience with Client-Server architectures and network replicationAttention to detail and an eye for qualityAn interest in game design, and a strong understanding of what makes responsive and intuitive game mechanicsAbility to work autonomously and self-organizeGood communication skills and ability & desire to work as a team playerExperience working on first or third person games ideal but not required ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WHAT YOU'LL GET Choice of paid parking or public transport expensesPaid parental leaveQuarterly Rostered Days Off (in addition to Annual Leave)Paid time off to volunteerAre you looking to work with enthusiastic experts who are tackling game-changing solutions in entertainment and beyond?
