We are creating The Westpac Mesh, a digital platform where developers have a great experience building great software.Our team of polyglot engineers build delightful experiences for other software engineers in Westpac. You will develop our flagship Mesh Connect Marketplace and tools that allow other developers in Westpac to easily build, deploy and run future ready applications with ease. As a Senior Engineer, you will be expected to help shape the technical direction of the products, as well as mentor more junior developers in the team.Main accountabilities include:First and foremost, build great software!Improve build processes, tooling & libraries to delight a large community of developers.Foster excellent team-dynamics to keep the team encouraged and motivated.Facilitate communication within and across teams and ensure stakeholders are kept updated.Identify and facilitate the removal of impediments.Working closely with others to build a vibrant technical community.What's in it for me?You'll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for over 200 years.
