The RoleWe're looking for a hybrid Senior Full Stack Developer / Scrum Master to work closely with our technical and business teams to manage development workflows while actively contributing to our core product.
This role is critical to our next phase of growth and offers the opportunity to make a real impact.
ResponsibilitiesDevelopmentBuild and enhance frontend and backend systems using modern frameworks like React and Spring Boot.Develop robust reporting functionality (PDF generation, Excel integration) using tools like Thymeleaf and AWS Lambda.Implement and optimize APIs, ensuring seamless integration with external systems.Scrum MasterFacilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Coordinate tasks across the team, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain and prioritize the development roadmap.Team & Stakeholder ManagementMentor less experienced developers and foster a collaborative environment.Work closely with business teams to ensure alignment on requirements and deliverables.RequirementsProven experience as a Full Stack Developer (Java, React, Node.js, Spring Boot, AWS).Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience acting as a Scrum Master or similar role.Experience in a team leadership or mentoring capacity.Strong understanding of software development best practices, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with regulatory reporting tools or systems, particularly PDF generation and Excel integrations, is a plus.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Nice-to-HavesKnowledge of financial services or experience working in a regulated industry.Previous experience managing external vendors or outsourced teams.Work EnvironmentFlexible hybrid work model with occasional in-office days for strategic workshops.Collaborative and supportive team culture.Based in Melbourne with a modern, accessible office space.Opportunities for GrowthInitial focus on development, with the potential to transition into a scrum master or team lead role.Influence the shaping of a growing IT department and technology strategy.Apply Today!If you're a tech-savvy problem-solver looking for a dynamic role that blends hands-on development with team leadership, we'd love to hear from you.
