Senior Fraud Analyst – 45644 Full time | PermanentKent St, Sydney Hybrid working arrangement – 2 days in office at Kent St + WFH How will I help? As a Senior Fraud Analyst, you will analyse information related to financial crime and implement detection strategies which mitigate risk and prevent financial loss, whilst ensuring there is minimal impacts to customer experience, product profitability and brand reputation.

Key Accountabilities include but not limited to: Analysis and interrogation of data to support fraud detection and uncover fraudulent activitiesIdentifying emerging fraud trends and detecting accounts at riskMake continual improvements to detection system rulesProvide insights into trends and anomalies to aid preventionMaintain internal reporting platforms to assist with analysisBecome an expert in product systems and processesWhat do I need:  You will have proven months experience in a commercial analytics environment. Experience working in a Fraud or Risk Analytics environment within financial services would be highly advantageous.Tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, and Actuarial Science etcTechnical skills in some of SQL, SAS, R or similar languages are essential with proven experience in using these to interrogate and manipulate large data setsProven stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage with and influence non-technical stakeholdersExperience playing games such as chess, poker or board games with a competitive nature is advantageous as these display similar thought processes to fraud detection What is it like to work there?
