An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior FP&A Manager to join one of Australia's leading Investment Banks. This role is based in the heart of Sydney CBD in impressive 'state of the art' offices and offers a competitive remuneration beside exciting career opportunities. The successful candidate will lead a team of 8 close-knit professionals who maintain the accounting and FP&A for the Real Estate division. This role will play a key role in leading and developing the team, often by challenging the numbers and striving towards group goals. They will also communicate key commercial information to finance and non-finance stakeholders as a business partner to the Head of Real Estate, Divisional Director and CFO. Open to backgrounds (property, banking are advantageous but not required), the successful candidate will have core commercial and critical thinking aptitudes, alongside excellent modelling, leadership skills and strong accounting fundamentals.

What you'll do:
Provide insights and analysis to help manage cost base and monthly cost recoveries
Support the delivery of strategy as a true finance business partner
Develop relationships with the offshore Financial Control team
Manage the financial risk and control environment for the Business Services and Corporate Real Estate Occupancy functions
Prepare monthly financial management reporting and detailed analysis on variances and drivers
Partner with leadership on formulation of annual budget and reforecasts
Provide insights into business efficiencies
Partner with leadership teams on adhoc projects and analysis to support decision making
What you bring:
Commercially astute accountant with excellent communication skills
Ability to work with senior stakeholders
Keen interest in business performance
FP&A and management experience
