MARS are partnering with a leading financial services business that have experienced rapid growth in recent years. Due to expansion, they're looking to hire a switched on and capable Senior FP&A Analyst with strong financial modelling skills, to join their team.
Reporting directly into the Head of FP&A, the primary focus of this role is around financial modelling, monthly reporting and analysis, cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and providing strategic insights.
The Role: Lead the budget and reforecast processes by developing and managing complex 3-way financial models that provide valuable insights for guiding financial decisions. Maintain and enhance existing budget and forecast models, continuously refining them to ensure accurate financial planning. Provide in-depth financial insights to support monthly reporting, cash flow forecasting, and the annual budget process, aiding strategic business decisions. Prepare and review monthly financial reports, comparing actual results to budget and forecast, explaining variances, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end reporting. Assist in developing and maintaining detailed Net Interest Margin analysis. Automate and streamline reporting processes to improve efficiency and deliver more insightful analysis. Collaborate with internal teams to assist with ad-hoc reporting requests and support the company's digital transformation initiatives. Contribute to the automation and enhancement of reporting systems while providing detailed analysis to support business growth and strategic objectives. The Requirements: Must hold a Bachelor's degree and CA/CPA qualification, with 5+ years' relevant experience (essential) 3+ years' experience in analysis and financial modelling (3-way modelling is essential). Proven experience in building models from scratch (essential). Experience in Financial Services is an essential requirement. Ideally confident with Macros, VBA and BI and visualisation tools. Strong communicator and ability to liaise with senior stakeholders. Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workload. Driven, reliable and thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
