We have a strong pipeline of work and an opportunity has arisen for a Site Supervisor/Senior Foreman capable of leading a construction team on a large-scale, medium-density (townhouse) development. The person we are looking for will have demonstrated experience on similar projects (minimum 50 dwellings) as well as a commitment to safe and sustainable work practices and quality construction. The role will involve but not be limited to: Regular reporting to the Project Nominee and Project Manager; Coordinate and attend toolbox talks; Attend weekly subcontractor meetings; Day-to-day coordination and site control of direct labour, plant and subcontracted activities; Issue and manage scheduled work programmes; Undertake spot audits; Inspection and monitoring of daily construction activities to ensure compliance with the requirements of HSEQ Management Plans and applicable SWMS; Risk management including Identify hazards, assess the risks associated with the work, document risk control measures and implement controls of the risks; Stop, reject or quarantine unsafe work methods, work areas, materials, plant and equipment; Display and make available Site Safety Rules to personnel on, and visitors to, the work site, and implement measures to deliver compliance with these and monitor performance; In-process inspection to verify that work is being carried out according to specified requirements.
