What you'll do As our Forecast Team Lead, you will lead, coach and develop our Sales Forecast team, building the capability to deliver on both the Replenishment and Sales Planning Vision and Strategy.
This is a critical role in enabling Big W to achieve its strategic objectives of delivering best in class availability and operational efficiencies by improving forecast accuracy and enhancing the ways of working with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage the on-the-job performance, training and coaching of the sales forecast analysts, ensuring high level of competence within the team Manage and optimise the sales forecast quality for key events across the the year including Easter, Christmas, Toy Sale Partner with system analysts to maintain and improve system forecast performance, reducing the need for manual adjustments Lead and execute Consensus Forecasting collaboration initiatives, building partnerships and relationships with internal and external stakeholders Provide Insights and analysis on key trade opportunities, seek and help integrate additional market insights into the sales forecast and replenishment What you'll bring Managing a team of analysts Managing High SKU/ high location count environment Experience with advanced statistical forecast and replenishment software Strong stakeholder engagement and an influencing skillset Experience in project management and leading initiatives What you'll experience We embrace diversity of thought and love to take on challenges with a pragmatic and innovative approach.
