Main responsibilities: Research and write daily news articles that drive new audiences to taste/ABR, with a focus on content aligned to social channels, Google Discover and distribution across the wider News Corp network. Sub-editing daily news articles, and providing feedback to other team members. Ensuring taste/ABR content aligns to brand tone and style guidelines. Generating video views through contextual embedding of the most relevant video content in every page. Hunting and developing new story ideas to attract new audiences to our brands. Craft compelling Facebook posts and newsletter sells that encourage click-throughs. Build content in taste CMS. Who are you? Food writing background, with a keen interest in home cooking. Sub-editing skills, particularly across digital environments. Eye for a good story hook; and an understanding of how to structure content for maximum digital engagement. Headline/sell writing skills to increase click-throughs. EDM content writing experience. Ability to mentor and coach junior team members. Solid knowledge of SEO best practices and working in CMS.
