Job Title: Senior Flood Consultant

This well-regarded consultancy, boasting one of the best environments in Brisbane, seeks a Senior Flood Consultant, where you'll lead Civil engineering designs and assessments, focusing on public domain designs and flood impact assessments.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee project coordination with the development team
Provide technical support and lead junior team members
Manage deadlines, milestones, and stakeholder communications
Prepare flood studies, floodplain management plans, and risk assessments
Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards
Engage in meetings and workshops with a positive approach

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Working towards CPEng preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering and flood management
Proficient in hydraulic modelling and GIS software: TUFLOW, RORB, HEC-RAS, ARCGIS, MIKE, and 12D

Skills

Excellent project and client management skills
Strong communication skills, including report writing and presentations
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and take on new challenges
