As part of our team, you get to build products and solutions that contribute to a better future.Responsibilities & Position OverviewGenerally, the Senior Embedded Designer is responsible for delivering new features or quality enhancements to our products. This is a collaborative role, working with a team in end-to-end feature implementation, with activities ranging from design to coding, peer review, and testing. Examples of day-to-day activities include:Reviewing end user needs and establishing feature requirements and verification criteriaDeveloping feature designs collaboratively with other designers and architectsParticipating in risk analysis considering safety, cyber security, and qualityWriting and peer reviewing embedded firmware code and unit tests- typically in C or C++.Implementing automated tests in Python or performing functional testing in our lab.Mentoring other team membersThe Senior Designer is a dynamic role that leverages a diverse array of skills.
