As our new Fire Safety Engineer, you'll be a vital part of the team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable. Your role will include:
Understands Fire engineering principles, calculation methods and advanced software modelling tools that can be applied to satisfy performance objectives.Develop cost-effective, pragmatic fire safety engineering solutions and negotiating with the Relevant Authorities on behalf of our clients.Utilize and share with others your strong understanding of fire engineering principles.Maintain and grow relationships with key stakeholders including clients and other design consultants.Joining Aurecon means you'll be at the award-winning edge of innovation and sustainability. As well as experience in a Fire Safety Engineer role. Specifically:
Experienced in the delivery innovative, highly efficient Performance-Based Solutions, supporting clients from the Conceptual Design phase, Final Design phase to Construction.Relevant Fire engineering qualifications including being a Registered Professional Engineer – Fire Safety (Victoria).Familiarity with National Code of Construction associated Australian Standards and Fire Engineering technical publications.Adaptable and positive mentality with an ability to manage themselves and others in a fast-paced environment.Strong understanding of building services and building regulations.
