We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Fire Protection Design Engineer to join a forward-thinking team within a large, globally recognized consultancy firm.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of comprehensive fire protection systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, fire detection, and suppression systems for a diverse range of projects.Manage the full project lifecycle from initial concept through to detailed design, ensuring all work meets client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Provide expert advice and technical support to both internal teams and clients, ensuring the delivery of safe, compliant, and cost-effective fire protection solutions.Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for fire protection design matters and ensuring their needs are met to the highest standard.Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in fire protection design, preferably within a consultancy environment, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.Extensive knowledge of fire protection systems and design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant hydraulic calculation tools.Deep understanding of Australian Standards (e.g., AS 2419, AS 2118) and Building Codes, as well as international fire protection standards.Strong leadership skills with experience in managing projects, teams, and client relationships.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.What's on Offer: An opportunity to lead and shape the fire protection design practice within a prestigious consultancy.Work on high-profile projects that push the boundaries of innovation and engineering excellence.Clear pathways for professional advancement within a company that values expertise and rewards performance.Join a collaborative team that encourages creativity, diversity, and continuous improvement.An attractive salary package, including performance-based bonuses, benefits, and professional development opportunities.If you are a motivated Engineer looking for an exciting career opportunity with a leading consulting firm, we want to hear from you!
