Reporting to the Global Reporting Manager you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, providing technical advice and business partnering with multiple internal stakeholders and Business Units (such as treasury, taxation, legal etc) globally.
As a key part of the Financial Reporting Team, you will support the Global CFO, Executive Team and Board.
Key Responsibilities will include: Providing technical accounting advice on key issues to business.Preparation of financial statements.Half-year and Year-end Statutory Reporting.Month-End and Board Reporting.Assist with Audit Committee reporting and liaising with the External Auditors.Update and amend new Accounting Standards and communicate impact of the changes to the business.Assisting in the continued development of the group's Global accounting policies.About You:
The ideal candidate for this position is a Technical CA/CPA qualified accounting professional with a Big 4 Audit background looking for their first commercial step.
You will be joining a team of high achievers with an unwavering dedication for continuous improvement and providing quality outcomes.
Key skills/experience required: CA/CPA Qualified.Technical accounting skills in AASB / IFRS.Ideally Big 4 audit background with ASX listed exposure or 5+ years experience in a similar technical financial reporting role.Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, prioritisation and organisational skills.Strong interpersonal skills with exceptional written communication.Ability to work effectively in a results driven environment coupled with a flair for identifying risk and driving process changes and automation.A proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict reporting deadlines.To be considered for this opportunity, please click on the appropriate link and complete the process.
