The role We are looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Manager to join our team.

This role brings with it the exciting opportunity to be able to lead a team through a period of change and be able to implement improvements across the finance function.
Managing a team of accountants you will be responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting whilst identifying continuous improvement initiatives.
You will also; Work effectively with a variety of senior stakeholders across the executive function and Group Level functions Mentor and guide a team of finance professionals.
Developing their skillset and enhancing the capability of the function Identify opportunities to enhance processes and create strategies to successfully implement Manage balance sheet reconciliations and review of weekly/daily EBITDA report Take the lead on the year end external audit and preparation of financial statements Support preparation of board and group level reporting About you This role is a great opportunity for an experienced accountant and people leader to be able to effect change.
To be successful you will need to have strong communication skills and have the ability to bring your team along for the journey.
You will also have; Tertiary Qualification with a CA or CPA qualification Experience in a big four accountancy firm would be advantageous Extensive technical accountancy experience ideally with both professional and industry experience Experience in finance transformations, project management and business planning Proven leadership experience in a senior management role Comprehensive knowledge of the Australian Accounting Standards and their application
