The Role - Senior Financial Adviser, Hybrid
The primary focus of the role is to drive growth from new client revenues in both on-going advice and non-recurring revenues. A hybrid role, you will be provided a small list of existing clients to foster referrals and additional opportunities to kickstart your progression in the business.
Develop advice strategies to key client segments - retirees, wealth accumulators, business owners, redundancy, tax effective structures (client share schemes), delivering specialist services in Investments (includes direct) SMSF and Insurance advice.
With a focus on new business and working in collaboration with the Advice Team, you will develop a tailored strategy to build a new client pipeline via internal and external sources. You will build close working relationships with aligned professionals from within the business's existing orbit and by leveraging your own relationships.
You will be supported internally with an engagement / associate leveraging 500+ Insurance only clients, teamed with an existing 'farmer' managing a large book, the mortgage broking team plus access the steady flow of leads coming into the business via company marketing.
The Person
A seasoned professional Senior Financial Planner, you know how to engage clients and enjoy recognition and autonomy to apply your skills.
Bring your energy, passion and expertise for engaging with and building new client relationships. You are a natural new business specialist and hunter by nature who loves to lead from the front.
Ideal applicants will have 3 years' experience in a client facing advice role encompassing a broad range of client types and demographics. Additionally you will have experience working directly with aligned professionals and managing successful referral relationships.
Advanced interpersonal relationship skills, strong analytical skills and eye for detail, client service focus and a genuine desire to help others are a must. High energy levels, new client engagement skills, lateral thinking capabilities and commercial aptitude will be expected.
Note: Financial Advisors with existing clients (ownership) are encouraged to apply - often the case with capacity constraints, the business will in-house you and provide maximum support.
The Rewards
Base salary packages highly incentivised and negotiable from circa $140-150k.
