Senior Financial Crime AnalystAs the Senior Financial Crime Analyst, you will be a critical support arm for the management of Great Southern Bank's AML/CTF operational processes with an intentional focus to streamlined, compliant output. You will manage and monitor procedures, processes and results to achieve AML/CTF compliance and improve the member experience. This position is based in Brisbane CBD with the flexibility to work from home two days per week.Your ResponsibilitiesProvide daily support to our team of Financial Crime Analysts to ensure all processes and obligations delivered by the team are managed effectively and efficiently.Act as an escalation management path for the team to follow when required.Manage day-to-day operational processes and provide team leadership when Manager is away or unavailable.Conduct quality assurance for key financial crime processes and lead key actions to drive quality improvement.Champion the identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives.Review and investigate unusual customer behaviour across Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF) and financial crime matters as required.Your Experience:Experience and/or understanding of financial crime risks across the financial services industry, including AML/CTF compliance and fraud.Exposure managing or supporting the management of an operational team.Experience in making sound decisions and judgement under stress.Demonstrable experience and/or exposure to criminal investigation techniques including evidence management and presentation and understanding of relevant legal procedures.Knowledge in Active Operations Management (AOM) is advantageous.What's in it for you?We want you to make an impact.
