Explore the unknown and create your legacy with this newly created hybrid accounting role combining sustainability reporting within financial reporting to disclose financial impacts on environmental sustainability regulatory frameworks.This opportunity offers a broad variety of exciting work including collaborating with stakeholders across various teams to navigate through ambiguity and to source and gather information when designing and implementing frameworks, systems and processes.Key activities include:Work with the Strategy & Sustainability team to progressively assign financial value to Stanwell's climate change risks and opportunities.Support the implementation and maintenance of software solutions for ESG reporting (financial and non-financial) compliance.Design, develop and maintain appropriate processes (and controls) to quantitatively assess Stanwell's strategy to be resilient to a range of climate-related scenarios and transitional risks.Proactively develop and support necessary preconditions for ESG assurance in the future (i.e. examine criteria for measures and determine evidence required to support the disclosures).Assist the Strategy & Sustainability team to be 'Reporting Ready' for Stanwell's sustainability reporting requirements.About youProven experience in a financial accounting role within a complex business environment.Strong analytical and financial modelling Excel skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear financial insights.Developing and implementing frameworks and processes.Provide technical advice compliant with accounting standards.What's next?To submit your application, please apply online with your CV.Further information on Stanwell can be found online at www.stanwell.com.As part of the recruitment process, you may be required to undertake pre-employment checks (may include police checks, AusCheck, medical assessment and/or drug and alcohol testing).Inclusion and diversity is an important part of shaping Stanwell's culture and how our workplace operates.
