Senior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain Finance - Melbourne, Australia - Sage Valley Senior LivingSenior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain Finance (APAC) role is for a key member of the Sonos Supply Chain FP&A Org, supporting 30+ business partners and their annual COGS. As a trusted business partner and advisor, this person will be responsible for delivering an annual operating plan, quarterly forecasting, results validation and reporting, supporting the quarterly earnings process, long range planning and KPI achievement and business case support for the logistics and distribution organization.Prepare annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts and monthly reporting for product cost, OpEx and CapEx, working with the supply chain and sourcing teams to identify key drivers and quantify relevant risks and opportunities.Own month-end reporting that gives insight to variances across the teams you support, but also articulates the impact to the current quarters' forecast; become the subject matter expert on storytelling for all variances versus Plan and Forecast.Drive planning and forecasting process with business partners; creating a calendar, using templates, managing Anaplan inputs, and creating forecast to forecast reporting with explanations.Provide data and supporting documentation to the accounting team to assure completeness and accuracy of our monthly and quarterly financial results.Partner with accounting team to suggest expense recognition policies that enable accurate gross margin reporting at the product level.Support Core FP&A team and finance leadership in quarterly earnings preparation, helping them understand key cost drivers in the logistics and distribution space.Focus on leveraging technology to support process improvement opportunities to improve forecast efficiency and accuracy; assist with development of that new technology.Identify and lead process improvement opportunities across FP&A, accounting, and other partners to improve efficiency, reporting and performance.Ad hoc projects supporting key business partners within Finance and the Hardware Operations teams you support.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or technology related field required.Minimum of 5+ years' experience in FP&A, accounting or supply chain.Financial experience should include deep understanding of GAAP, gross margin drivers, P&L and balance sheet familiarity and some business partnering and budget management experience.Experience leveraging multiple large data sets for analysis and insights.Intermediate to advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.Right time first mentality with strong attention to detail, process improvement mindset and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Strong Excel modeling and analysis skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting supply chain for a multinational consumer products or technology company.Experience with supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing, and product cost accounting and processes.Ability to communicate and collaborate with global business partners who have varying levels of financial literacy.Prior exposure to financial forecasting tools (Anaplan), ERP systems (SAP) and data visualization tools such as Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud and Microstrategy.Self-starter - demonstrating high energy/creativity, relentless customer-focus, and entrepreneurial spirit.A passion for collaborating with others to deliver the best possible outcome while balancing key constraints.High integrity, intellectually curious, self-aware, humble.
