About the role We currently have a permanent opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Finance Analyst to join our Trading & Portfolio Management (TPM) Finance team in Sydney. You will play an integral role in creating analysis and tracking of performance, improving core processes, monthly forecast cycles, and maintaining the integrity of the financial data that the business uses to make key commercial decisions.

What you'll do Consolidate flash reports, analyse risks, and prepare business segment reporting Lead the development of forecasts that align with our business goals, bridging gaps between current and projected performance Work closely with internal stakeholders, building strong partnerships to support effective project delivery and financial targets Review the output of forecasting models for reasonableness and evaluate current performance to benchmarks Maintain Oracle planning tool and contribute to forecast process improvement including establishment of rolling forecast Your experience Relevant tertiary qualifications (Commerce, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering) coupled with experience in a similar role gained within a complex and changing environment Strong financial management, analytical capabilities, and a demonstrated ability to provide business insights that drive improvement Naturally curious and analytical mindset who thrives on providing detailed analysis to drive business goals and improve business processes Knowledge of energy markets, particularly the Australian Electricity and Gas sectors would be highly advantageous This role is best suited to a proactive individual who enjoys building trusted business relationships and working in a deadline driven environment.
