A bit about the role  We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is critical in supporting our strategic growth objectives and ensuring robust financial performance across the organisation.
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will manage key processes across the Finance function, including month-end reporting, capex reporting, cash flow management, balance sheet management, and tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities Month-End Reporting: Preparation of month-end financial reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and timely delivery.Capex Reporting: Preparation of capital expenditure reporting, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.Departmental Reporting: Collaborate with department heads to prepare and analyse financial reports, driving performance and ensuring financial discipline.Cash Flow Management: Cash flow forecasting and management, ensuring optimal working capital and liquidity for the business.Balance Sheet Management: Ensure accurate reconciliation and management of balance sheet accounts, addressing discrepancies and improving financial controls.Tax Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with all tax-related obligations, including GST, FBT, income tax, and other reporting requirements.System and Process Improvements: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process enhancements, to streamline financial operations and reporting.Special Projects and M&A Exposure: Contribute to special projects such as post-acquisition integration, system integrations, and support potential M&A activities.Hands-On Role: Take a proactive, hands-on approach to tackling challenges, managing competing priorities, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.Teamwork: Provide guidance and support to junior finance staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the team.Key Requirements CA/CPA qualified, with at least 3 - 5 years of post-qualification experience.Strong technical accounting expertise.Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with the ability to analyse complex financial data and present clear, actionable insights.Proven experience in managing month-end close processes, cash flow management, and balance sheet reconciliations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software.A great attitude with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and get to work.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering results.Experience working in both professional services (audit/corporate finance) and industry/commercial finance roles.Exposure to international consolidation and tax reporting.What We Offer A flexible, inclusive, and supportive work environment.Competitive remuneration and opportunities for professional development.A chance to work with a passionate team in a high-growth, global technology company.Involvement in exciting projects, that shape the future of our technology.Next Steps
