Day-to-Day Responsibilities Develop and maintain Life of Mine (LOM) planning models and strategic investment decision models to support value-accretive decisions. Lead the group's business planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting activities, to drive strategic alignment and ensure timely completion. Provide timely, accurate, standardised, and insightful performance reporting to support business objectives and strategies, with a focus on highlighting business performance, risks, and opportunities to leadership. Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful group consolidation of forecasts and reports to support decision-making. Empower senior leadership with high-quality data and analytics, actively challenging perspectives and offering astute recommendations to maximise value and advance St Barbara's strategic ambitions. Develop and monitor monthly KPIs, establishing key metrics and reporting on them as the company evolves. Develop and maintain group procedures. Provide finance business partnering to functional departments, delivering high-quality analysis, insights, and recommendations. Contribute to simplifying and standardising finance processes, enhancing the efficiency of the Finance function. About You Proven strategic and analytical thinking skills, with a strong ability to apply them to financial planning outputs. Experienced in budgeting and forecasting, including preparing and managing corporate and consolidated budgets. Skilled in performance reporting that promotes accountability and strategic alignment. Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end mining process. Advanced proficiency in Excel. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (essential). CA/CPA qualification; additional degrees in Mining, Geology, Engineering, Metallurgy, or related fields (desirable). Further studies in modelling or analytics (advantageous).
