The Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for overseeing the management and reporting of financial data, supporting the Finance team and other departments and delivering monthly financial results in a timely and accurate manner.Key accountabilities:Prepare technical accounting papers, reports, accounting policies and procedures, and other material as requiredPrepare and review the statutory annual financial statements including the supporting work papers for consolidated and/or individual entities within the Health Group including liaising with external auditorsReview, evaluate, make recommendations and implementing internal controlsContribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs and procedures including spearheading optimisation/best practice financial accounting and reporting processesPrepare balance sheet projections (including cash) and monitoring against forecast/budgetPrepare monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reportsAbout you:Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA or CA fully qualifiedPervious extensive experience in similar position in medium to large enterpriseExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong level of analytical and commercial acumenAdvanced computer software skills, including Excel and other financial software and tools for reporting and analysis purposesAbility to perform data and statistical analysis to spot trends and anomaliesAbility to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholdersWhat are some of the benefits of the business?We believe that flexibility is not a 'perk', it's how we have always worked!
