Do you view tax as more than just compliance and enjoy partnering with stakeholders to effectively plan and mitigate potential tax issues while having a hand in the day-to-day accounting function?About the company:Currently in a growth phase and with an internal focus driving operational and system efficiencies, this is a great time to join a business that has a focus on its people and delivery a high level of service to internal stakeholders and customers alike.About the role:We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant with a background in tax to join the National Finance Team in a role that offers a strong blend of business partnering/advisory and compliance work, playing a critical role in the strategic financial planning and analysis department, contributing to the success of our business by managing financial reporting, taxation compliance, and development accounting.You will have a broad scope across the business, depending on the time of year, and duties will include:Assist in preparing financial statements and annual accounts for all business structures.Prepare financial analysis and reports.Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets.Taxation Compliance and Reporting/ Tax effect accounting advising on taxation matters and recommend tax strategies.Provide modelling and analysis support for development requirements from a finance perspective.Review and advise on project feasibility reports.Prepare development margin related disclosures for annual accounts.Ensure compliance with treasury and hedging policy.About youCA/CPA qualified you will have a background in tax, either from a commercial experience or looking to move from Tax/ Business Services into the commercial space. With a flexible and proactive approach to your work, you'll describe yourself as a team player who enjoys building relationships with stakeholders to provide a high level of analytical and compliance support.
