Position
Primary responsibilities include maintaining the general ledger through monthly reconciliations of balance sheet items, preparing financial reports, and overseeing cash positions.
Statutory reporting ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing annual financial accounts, and timely submission of all statutory returns.
Preparation of reporting packs for the senior management team (which you will have high exposure to).
Prepare all tax compliance and returns, supported by external providers.
Proactively identify and champion the implementation of process improvements within the finance team and across the broader business.
Support the broader business operations and commercial management teams by providing relevant, accurate, and timely financial information.
Office-based role, located in North Sydney (with flexibility for the right candidate).
Profile
CA qualified with exceptional technical, commercial, and analytical skills.
Experience in preparing statutory accounts and tax compliance is essential.
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
Be self-motivated and having effective workload prioritization will be critical to success in this position.
Have a drive to understand the business to facilitate the interpretation of financial outcomes.
Ability to communicate to a wide range of stakeholders, share and learn from others. Team player skills are essential.
