Senior Financial Accountant | Investment ManagementSeeking a Financial Accountant for a well-known Investment Manager, offering autonomy in the role and opportunities for career development.MARS Recruitment is partnering with a leading financial services company to find an experienced Financial Accountant.
In this role, you'll be instrumental in analysing complex data, delivering insights, and making strategic recommendations to foster the organization's growth and success.
Key responsibilities include managing financial and regulatory reporting, supporting budgeting, business structuring, cash flow, and tax planning activities.This position offers an excellent opportunity for a highly driven individual with a passion for uncovering insights and driving data-informed decisions to join a leading investment manager.Responsibilities:Prepare monthly management reports and board reports.Assist with ASX listed reporting requirements on a regular basis.Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements.Partner with business units to provide insightful analysis of financial performance.Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process.Support funding, cash flow planning, and tax funding activities.Ensure compliance with all tax requirements and reporting.Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and implement new ones.Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.Criteria:5+ years of experience in a financial accounting role.Background in financial services with banking and investment management desirable.Experience with local regulatory reporting is highly regarded.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.Experience in ASX-listed reporting an advantage.Strong analytical skills.Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.Note:Only Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered at this time.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply to the role directly with your resume and cover letter.
