About the Role: We currently have an opportunity for a highly talented and adaptable Senior Financial Accountant to join our Innovative finance team.
Reporting to a results-oriented Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.
Additionally, you'll be responsible for managing, mentoring and providing leadership to 2 AP officers.
Responsibilities will also include: Manage and report on corporate Profit & Loss statements.Budget and forecast, advising stakeholders on budget management.Manage facilities with bank providers.Create and manage dashboards.Forecast cash flow and focus on capex reporting.Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.Manage the accounts' payable function and ensure suppliers are paid on time and accurately.Manage, mentor and provide leadership to 2 AP officers.Act as a business partner to corporate areas, with a focus on process improvement in Finance (AP, AR, Payroll, Accounting).Oversee processes, policies, and procedures.Complete ad hoc tasks as requested by management to support business operations.About You: Leadership and strong attention to detail.Customer-focused mindset with critical thinking and decision-making abilities.High energy, drive, and passion as a collaborative team player.Effective time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills.Initiative as a self-starter, with project management capabilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong interpersonal skills.Proactive approach, maintaining discretion and confidentiality.Professional presentation and ability to work well under pressure, with an assertive demeanour.Qualifications: Tertiary degree in Business/Finance.CA/CPA Experience.Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Accountant.High level of numeracy skills.The Benefits: Enjoy working in modern, bright workspaces with easy access from Eastlink.
