Senior Financial Accountant

MARS Recruitment is collaborating with a Financial Services organisation to recruit a dedicated and technically proficient Senior Financial Accountant for a 6-month contract.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to advance into a senior role and gain valuable exposure to ASX-listed reporting.Responsibilities:Ensure the efficient completion of month-end close, including reconciliations.Prepare monthly management reports and board reports.Assist with ASX listed reporting requirements on a regular basis.Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements.Partner with business units to provide insightful analysis of financial performance.Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process.Support funding, cash flow planning, and tax funding activities.Ensure compliance with all tax requirements and reporting.Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.The Requirements:Minimum of 3 years commercial experience.An Audit background is preferred.Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and ASIC reporting.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.To Note:Full time office based (5 days).You must be available to start immediately.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply to the role directly with your resume.
