Senior Financial Accountant

The companyHigh growth services business who are the leader in their field.Having recently been acquired by an internationally listed powerhouse, the company is in a great position to continue executing on their long-term growth strategy.The roleReporting to the Finance Manager this will start as a stand alone position with the opportunity to manage staff in the future plans for the role as the business continues to expand. The core elements of the role include:Prepare weekly/monthly reports for various business units and corporate cost centresPrepare journal entries to ensure P&L and Balance Sheet accuracyMonthly balance sheet reconciliations, addressing review matters promptlyPartner with the Business in respect to financial reporting and decision supportPrepare monthly financial resultsAssist with preparation of Statutory AccountsAssist in identifying, developing and implementing efficient processes including roll-out of new ERPEnsure compliance with corporate accounting and financial policiesCompletion of revenue and expense accruals and provision journalsAssist with the management and upskilling of a team of finance professionalsThere will also be a number of systems integration, process improvement initiatives and operationally driven projects to get involved in along the way.About youCA/CPA qualified3+ years experience in a similar roleIntermediate to advanced excel skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAudit or strong financial control background highly regardedDon't hesitate to apply!If you are confident you have the skills and personality outlined above, I am keen to hear from you.
