We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team during an exciting busy time!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Daily journal posting & reconciliation – including retail sales/payment reconciliation (Clearing Journals, POS, Amex, AfterPay, payment journal) Ownership of monthly balance sheet reconciliation for the GL not done by AP/AA. Monthly BAS, PAYG payment, Payroll Tax, Income Tax Installment, Superannuation payment & FBT. Month-end process: cost variance analysis, accrual journals, bank & payroll related journals, stock shrinkage journal, e-commerce store sales reconciliation, bonus calculation report. Assisting in weekly cashflow. Maintenance of company credit cards – including monthly journal upload. Merchant: Organize new EFTPOS for new store opening.
Liaise with bank or Braintree for merchant chargeback cases. Assist in budgeting, forecasting & audit process. Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register. Ad hoc.
